2. Log care dates — last watered, fertilized, repotted and pruned — and add notes.
3. Set a next check date so overdue plants stand out.
4. Update entries each time you care for a plant.

Tips

• Use “next check date” as a reminder to check the soil, not an automatic watering day — see how often to water.
• Note symptoms like yellow leaves or pests with the date — patterns become obvious over time.
• Log propagation: when you took cuttings and when roots appeared.
